Text and Image in Sense Of Place

In todays Lecture Rob talked about text and image and gave us some examples of what we could research in our concertina sketchbook. He showed us a numerous amount of artists/books we could research but some work by a woman called Vivian Maier interested me the most. In the 50's she took photos of herself in New York, but of course she could not take a selfie with her mobile phone, she used a large old fashioned camera and took photos that showed her reflection. 

I am thinking of researching her work for my concertina and maybe recreating my own Vivian style photographs in town with my phone camera.
