To help with our sense of place brief we were told to write down on sticky notes words that you would associate with the city, particularly Huddersfield. We did this to help us understand what we could include in our sketch books and what we think of when asked about the city. For example I wrote down the word 'cold' because the city is outside and to explore the city you must venture out into the world, also its pretty cold. I also wrote the word lights because at night time in a city it is never completely dark because there are glowing yellow street lights, traffic lights, lights from cars and buildings. The city never truly sleeps. We then put all our sticky notes on a window, to document and link each others words together.
