Creative exchange week - YSP

On the Monday of the creative exchange week I attended the trip to Yorkshire Sculpture Park. We jumped onto the coach and were then let loose to explore the park for a couple of hours.

One of the first exhibits  I saw was the not vital exhibit which was outside in the gardens and also in the underground gallery.

I also saw a smaller exhibit by Kate Daudy called This is water. There was felt typography stuck to the walls in and outside.

I also checked out an exhibit by James Webb called 'We listen to the future'. The exhibit as inside a church and was simply a set of huge speakers that played rhythmic sounds of beating hands and drums. There were also small speakers on the walls that you could only hear up close and could eerily hear the sound of a heartbeat. This exhibit highlighted how sound can change the sense of a place.
