Introduction to Industry brief
Today Rob gave us the introduction to our new brief which is about industry. There were three task options but the one recommended and the one I am going to do is to choose a penguin book from three provided and redesign the front cover. The brief is also a live brief as we can enter our designs into penguins competition and could win a work placement and £1000!
The books to choose from are To Kill A Mocking Bird (adult fiction), In Cold Blood (adult non-fiction) and The Secret Diary Of Adrian Mole Aged 13 3/4 (children's). From this selection I sway towards the children's book as I imagine I could do some hand drawn illustrations but I will look at the other options too and weigh up the possibilities of how I could take on the task.
