Creating my own zine - developed work
I decided to create my own zine after the zine making workshop I had at the beginning of the year. A zine could be about anything so I knew I could choose any topic for my zine. My favourite thing to draw is drag queens, so I chose this as my topic! At the moment season 10 of RuPauls Drag Race is on TV so I chose to draw queens from the new season in my zine. I started with an A4 piece of paper and folded and cut the paper to create a zine which I learnt from the zine workshop. On a separate piece of paper I folded to create the right sized rectangles so I could draw onto the squares and then stick the drawings into the zine. I did not want to draw directly onto the zine incase of a mistake and I was going to colour with pro markers which would have bleed through the paper.
