Essay seminar - drawing and description
In this seminar we brought in more of our essay and peer marked each others. We also had to bring in a diagram of our essay. I made a mind map with points and information that will be in my essay. We then discussed each other diagrams in groups, finding out what other people had in mind for their essay.
James then gave us some paper that we had to fold into four as we were about to watch two videos in which we ha to sketch what was happening whilst watching. The first video was called 'Doodlebug'. It was a very obscure black and white. Once we had drawn our four images we had to write a description of the image on the back. This was to help us with our descriptive writing.
The second film as a 10 minute animation called 'Father and daughter'. It was an emotional story of a girl loosing her father and growing up. It was also quite confusing and open to interpretation. I did the same as before, sketched and then wrote about it on the back!
